Dear friends of the Los Feliz Lodge
For many of you, this small family-owned hotel has become a second home. It has become a place of comfort where you can start and end your day in the tranquility of our courtyards and bungalows. It has become a place of convenience, close to great coffee, food, transportation, and usually the people you’ve come to visit.
My brother, sister, and myself have enjoyed sharing our space with so many people from around the world. It makes us so happy knowing that you’ve enjoyed our space as much as we have. However, we are saddened to announce we will no longer be accepting stays shorter than 30 nights starting June 1st, 2019
Back in 2005, we started this lodge for the community of Los Feliz. We heard over and over from friends and neighbors how there were not any good hotels in the area for when family and friends came to visit. The majority of our business has been hosting relatives of our neighbors. You have returned multiple times a year, year after year, and for that we are extremely grateful. We’re grateful for the relationships that we’ve made and for the friendships that were formed with you. I will miss our conversations and the updates on your families.
Even before the implementation of new city ordinances, we know that our time running this magical hotel was coming to an end. With the shifting and growing of careers, we felt the squeeze of time and energy on our lives. It was just becoming too difficult to juggle all the responsibilities. Our plan for the future is to rent out our Villas and Casitas as furnished monthly rentals. If you plan to visit Los Angeles for long periods of time, we hope that you will stay with us.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for your visits, and we’ll always carry a deeper joy for having experienced these last 14 years of running the Los Feliz Lodge
