In September 1914 The Los Angeles Times reported that “Finishing touches” were just completed on a seven story loft and storefront building at 908-910 S. Broadway. Designed by architectural firm it was billed as “Beautiful in Gothic Art Nouveau” style and “Fire-Proof” in a “Progressive” neighborhood. There was much anticipation and speculation as to what it would become. ✨
