Cleanvoice – Automated Podcast Editing via Hacker News [Shared]

I know that I spend so much time editing out filler words in the podcasts that I produce and something like this could be very useful. that said, the timing involved in editing these out is a major part of the quality of a podcast. I would need to try it out a few times to see if it meets my own editing sensibilities. One feature that might help with this is the “TimelineExport” which shows you the edits Cleanvoice recommends and then allows you to manually edit them. This would give you a lot more control over the final product. – Douglas

It’s often the one we try first — or the one we use as a last resort when all the other ordering methods fail. It’s boring, but it works, and it’s so ingrained that it’s hard to imagine not using it. But before you can order anything alphabetically, you need an alphabet.

For the past few weeks, you may have noticed something new on videos from some of your favorite YouTubers.

If you hovered over the timeline of certain YouTuber’s videos, you’d see the timeline was split up into sections. If you hovered over a section, a brief description of what was contained in that timeframe would come up. Pretty nifty if you were looking for a specific topic of discussion within a longer video.
