You can now take Metro to the beach in Santa Monica! The Expo Line extension opens today.

From the Garden Suite Hotel:

Take the Purple Line train from Wilshire/Western (across from the Wiltern Theater) and get off at 7th Street Metro Center Station. Take the escalator upstairs and transfer to the Expo Line train to Santa Monica. Total cost: $1.75.
