A most unique country inn, we specialize in romantic escapes, secluded getaways, and superb breakfasts each morning... all just moments away from historic Charlottesville, Virginia. Today, our original cottages (circa 1699 - 1880) boast air conditioning,

private baths, working fireplaces, full breakfast-in-bed, and jetted tubs (in most rooms). Children and dogs are welcome with well-behaved adults!

I'm not, I'm here because I love wedding photography and my couples are the best, but the cake is a great perk.

March has finally come around and as the sun shines longer each day, the air warms, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the garden fared through this bitterly cold winter. The gardening rule of “what comes late, stays late” was certainly true this winter, so I was grateful to see my Snowdrops rise above the melting ice and snow. I’m hopeful that the slow emergence of my early spring bulbs means they’ll stick around longer this year. Read more of our monthly blog below!
