More news from the garden today, we have some eggplants coming on strong. Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, I’m processing 10 pounds of ripe mostly Roma tomatoes into sauce, which I will run through the food mill that a wonderful neighbor gave me not too long ago.  the goal is a lot of marinara sauce to be used in pasta dishes. I will likely freeze about half of it and try to eat the other half. Will report back later as to how much sauce I got out of that 10 pounds.

Coming up on almost 10 years of hosting my home in Paristown neighborhood. Never knew I would enjoy hosting so much, and it’s mainly because I love where I live. I love the city and all that it has to offer.

From culinary to breweries and our parks with other recreation opportunities along the Ohio river to Churchill Downs. It’s a great place to visit.
