Meet the Counselor: Last but certainly not least we have a new Counselor! This is his first summer at camp, and he’s already rolling in with great energy (sometimes literally — on roller skates). He’s bilingual in English and Spanish, which means he can welcome campers, tell jokes, and give directions in two languages with equal enthusiasm.

Give him a scrambled Rubik’s Cube and a few quiet minutes, and you’ll see some impressive problem-solving skills in action. He’s patient, thoughtful, and always ready to help figure things out — whether it’s a puzzle or a homesick camper.

We’re still working on the perfect camp name for him, but one thing is certain: he brings kindness, curiosity, and a smooth-rolling vibe that fits right in with our camp family.

Meet the counselor: Cubby is back for her second summer at camp, and we could not be happier! She has a natural curiosity about the world and loves discovering new things — whether it’s a hidden trail, a new craft, or a camper’s favorite joke.

Her music taste? Completely go-with-the-vibe. If it matches the mood, Cubby’s listening to it. This makes her the perfect partner for dance parties, chill moments, and everything in between.

Cubby brings a warm smile, calm energy, and a spirit of adventure wherever she goes. Camp is simply better with her in it.

Meet the counselor: Pup is a first-year camp counselor bursting with color, creativity, and just the right amount of delightful chaos. Her favorite color is “rainbow” (yes, all of them at once), and somehow she manages to dress like it every single day.

She’s the younger sister of Wolfie, but don’t let that fool you—Pup has her own bright path, usually sketched out in doodles, markers, and half-finished art projects tucked under her arm. She loves drawing, making quirky little creations, and finding joy in the weird and wonderful corners of camp life.

Somewhere in her cabin, she has more than twenty pairs of shoes, each one waiting for the perfect moment to make an appearance. No one is entirely sure how she chooses them, but they always match her mood.

Pup is incredibly sweet, endlessly fun, and brings a spark of color to everything she touches. Camp is definitely brighter with her here.

Meet the counselor: Pickle 🥒 — first-year counselor, professional problem-solver, and the most dependable human you’ll meet in a pair of muddy sneakers.

Pickle is the kind of person who quietly figures things out before anyone even realizes there was a problem. Need a tent fixed? A game organized? A plan B for the plan that didn’t work? Pickle’s already on it — probably with a calm smile and a “no worries.”

He’s a fast learner with a knack for picking up new skills like he’s collecting camp badges. Most impressively, he is an absolute expert at building the perfect campfire and crafting golden, gooey s’mores that deserve their own award ceremony.

When he’s not mastering camp life, Pickle is dreaming big — he plans to study aerospace engineering, which makes perfect sense because he’s always looking up, thinking ahead, and figuring out how things work.

Reliable, clever, and always ready to help, Pickle is the counselor you want on your team when things get busy… and the one you want near the fire when it’s time for s’mores.

Meet the counselor: Burn 🔥 — A first-year counselor with a long camper history and an even longer list of stories he probably shouldn’t be telling.

Burn has been coming to camp for years, mastering the fine art of being just mischievous enough to be memorable, but just helpful enough to avoid getting into real trouble. He earned his legendary camp name the hard way — by nearly setting himself on fire while heroically trying to put out a campfire. (He likes to say it was bravery. We say it was “a learning experience.”)

He’s visited eight countries, but somehow still manages to get lost walking from the dining hall to the lake.

Burn is always in motion, always planning something slightly suspicious, and always laughing when you least expect it. If there’s harmless chaos, a mysterious noise, or a prank that ends in everyone laughing — Burn was probably nearby.

And if you can’t find him, check with his best friend Pickle. They travel as a pair.

We’re thrilled to have this world-traveler, fire-fighting, fun-making legend on staff this summer.
