If you see Andy McNeely around town today, tell him thanks for restoring the voice back to the oil mill steam whistle. It has been silent for several months. Today at 6:00am his voice was heard once again! Anyone having the history of this whistle or how long it has been waking Louisville residents, please share.

A couple of seasons have past since I last posted....but wanted to share a make over bed....flower bed. Loren Holdeman has completed several projects for our properties and we are grateful for his work and dedication to leaving a job so neat. The flowers at our driveway entrance are a welcoming site to our guests. The Guest House on Academy has 7 other beds made up for you to enjoy as well. We have just completed redecorating 817 Academy with new flooring and painting. 814 Academy is ready for your guests as well. Holidays will be here soon and now is the time to start reserving dates.
