My Aunt Joy made flying fish mobiles for me and my sister when we were kids, probably 35 to 40 years ago, and my parents have kept them safe in our childhood home for all these years. Joy passed away in 2001. Last week my folks brought the fish here to the Oasis, where the mobiles can help spread Joy's joy exponentially.

Thanks and big hugs all around for everyone who has helped keep the Joy joy alive. ♥🥰

Never stayed in a place that has shared bathrooms? It's understandable that you might have questions or concerns. In fact, it's the number one reason potential guests choose to stay elsewhere instead of booking one of our amazing rooms.

We hope this video helps explain the "bathroom situation" here at The Oasis, alleviates some fears, and maybe even gives you a laugh or two. And if our place still isn't a good fit for you, we completely understand. We're not for everyone, and we're okay with that. 😎 Enjoy!

My favorite local spot (other than our backyard!) to catch the sunsets and sunrises is this pond located right next to Loveland's Recycling Center. Why do I go?

To feel something.

Connecting to nature energizes me and gives me peace. Sometimes I think deep thoughts and cry. Or laugh. Sometimes I'm just there, being a person who's grateful for being alive on this beautiful planet.

We built the Oasis to be a place people can come to feel things, too. 💙♥💜
