BUFFALO SPRINGS LAKE – FAST SIDE WATER CLOSURE NOTICE

Please be advised that the fast side of the lake will be closed Wednesday, October 14th, through Friday, October 16th, to allow for necessary maintenance on the tower near the dam.

Professional divers will be conducting maintenance during this time. For the safety of the divers and all lake visitors, all boating and recreational activities are prohibited within the designated closure area.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to safely complete these essential maintenance operations.

🚨NOW HIRING – FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION🚨
Buffalo Springs Lake | Lubbock County WCID #1
Buffalo Springs Lake is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Employee to join our team! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, hardworking, and a quick learner. This position involves outdoor work and manual labor, so applicants must be willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.

Position Duties Include:
• Mowing and weed-eating
• Trash pickup and grounds cleanup
• General lake and property maintenance
• Basic maintenance and repair work
• Assisting with other maintenance duties as needed

Qualifications:
• Must be able to perform manual labor
• Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team
• Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
• Maintenance experience is a plus, but not required
•Drug test required-pre employment
• Random drug testing throughout employment per District policy
Full-Time Position – 40 Hours Per Week
Hour could vary during the season/busy time of the year.
Starting pay $15-$17 and hour depending on experience.
