My wish came true (for a few months anyway) when I was assigned to work
as the engineer on the Roosevelt International Bridge rehab project between Lubec and Campobello Island and rented a house right on the ocean, overlooking the Bay of Fundy. After my assignment was completed and I moved back home I continued to watch for homes that came on the market in Lubec. On one memorable day, a beautiful cottage that is now Lubec Bay Cottage came on the market. I knew it was the one! I turned it into a vacation rental so that others can enjoy it as much as I do! Once you stay here you will know why I chose this cottage. Even though I have made a lot of changes over the past 10 years - removed various walls and added some French doors and a huge outdoor living space - I have kept the character of this special place.
