Well i think my trees are giving up the leaves😳hard to stay ahead. But keep trying.
Been steady at the B&B. Cabin weekends are booked for Dec. I still have Dec open for Eff. If you have family coming in for holidays, we have some days here and there. Check us out at AIRBNB and VRBO

Have not posted in awhile. Life happens. Been busy with life and B & B. We are getting more and more traveling medical people. We are looking for spring and planting time. Hope it warms up soon, I dont like the cold. Bless everyone and keep traveling .

Good morning. Hope everyone is well and staying vigilant with masks and social distancing.
We are finally getting to have christmas with my daughter and her family. They all went thru covid but are well now.
We are still up and running. I am doing my best between guests to sanitize well and air out.

Happy holidays everyone. Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Ours was quiet. Gran has covid so family is quarntined. Our Christmas and New Year will be later.
My cabin is booked this weekend for alittle getaway for a couple, and my Eff apt is booked for New Years.

So been a really strange year. Covid caused me to close both units first part of year. I opened and have been fairly busy. Still being careful and cleaning very carefully. I believe people feel more secure traveling using b&bs. Besure to check with your b&bs if you are taking a trip.

Well i have to admit i love these days. Im not a cold weather person, but cool in morning , sun and pleasant weather rest of day is great.
We have been getting alot of bookings and interest. Some for work and some just alittle getaway.

Well i do believe we have alittle fall going on here. Leaves are falling and cool spell showed up. Trying to stay ahead of leaves, mulching every two or three days. Hope your out enjoying the weather and pretty days

Well we have had crazy weather as usual. Prayers for Louisiana as they have been sedtroyed by to different but horriable storms.
Started serious mulching yesterday to stay caught up. Going to try to get some planting done and close up veg garden for winter.

Well here we are at fall again. Cooler weather is here , but not so sure to stay. We will still have some warm days.
We are pretty booked for oct. Lots of people here to work and some just for little getaways.
If you have family coming in during holidays, besure to chk out our two units.
Eff apt has everything you need, full kitchen, laundry, tv area, breakfast table, covered parking and patio, firepit area.
Cabin, smaller, but small kitchenette, with induction hot plate, sm fridge, couch for tv viewing, covered porch, and grill and firepit.

Cal & Carolyn Tipton welcome you to Windmill Hill B & B. Their unique house located on 103 west has been in the CASA Christmas tour of homes two years. They welcome you to come and enjoy the quiet and solitude of the Eff. Apt located at the back of their property in a mother-in- laws- quarters. Covered parking and patio areas are unique to B & B's. Also our Cabin that we have had open for two years now. Tiny, cozy and the nestled up to some trees and at back of our property.

We love having you come enjoy out little corner of the world. We live among houses but have the feeling of being well out in the woods. We are a convenient to town and all that it offers, but the feeling of being out. We have plenty of birds, squirrels and the occasional guinea hen pass by.

We started this as a way to use the apartment that we had lived in while building our house as a little extra income and ended up really loving the guests that come and go. Some come again, and again. We have some long term that come to work here for 1 to 3 months at a time, and some for just the weekend. We have had people from all parts of the world. Guests from Paris, South Africa, Russia, and Australia. We have really loved talking to them and helping them to get to know the Pineywoods and Texas.
