It has been slow, but we're getting there! New roof, windows, doors, and staircase. Finished the 'rough-in" plumbing, electrical and AC/Heat. And we even have insulation and walls!

Demolition is almost complete! Next week they start putting up the interior walls.

Today the old roof was torn off and all the rotted decking and rafters were replaced. Tomorrow the new metal roof will be installed!
(I'll try to get up there to get some pictures this weekend.)

We decided to start a FB page to document our restoration of the old Knights of Pythias lodge building in downtown Lufkin. The building is 112 years old and looks pretty rough right now. The first floor is currently leased as commercial property and the second floor is vacant. We plan to convert the second floor into loft style apartments. Wish us luck!(We're going to need it!)
