I was blessed to be part of another Trail wedding this morning in Shenandoah National Park. Jimmy and Cindy were high-school sweethearts who rekindled their flame at a class reunion. He stayed at Open Arms Hostel in 2018 and we kept in touch over the years. Cindy knew how important the Appalachian Trail was to him and so, when they discussed wedding plans, she suggested that they get married in the park. He asked me to help find the preacher and the perfect spot on or near the trail with a great overlook. Wayne Taylor, Preacher Man, and Crescent Rock overlook fit the bill.
