The Luray Singing Tower holds a busy recital season performed by our carillonneur Jason Perry in our 2026 season.

All recitals are free and feature Patriotic, Folk, Hymn Melodies, Classical Music, Original Compositions for the Carillon, and popular melodies. Recitals are 45 minutes long.

Recitals for 2026 run from Memorial Day Weekend through October. Come out and enjoy our Singing Tower with family and friends for a picnic, a game of frisbee, or a walk around the pond, all while enjoying the sound of music ringing out from above. Listeners have the opportunity to meet Mr. Perry after each recital and learn about the carillon.

Whey Jennings is an American country music singer-songwriter and the grandson of country legend Waylon Jennings. Known for his booming baritone voice and "outlaw country" style, his music blends traditional honky-tonk sounds with raw storytelling rooted in themes of redemption, faith, and his journey through past struggles. Check him out this weekend in Luray!

Whey Jennings Live — Saturday May 30 at Cooter’s Luray VA.

Friendly reminder! The entire length of Skyline Drive through the Shenandoah National Park will have free admission this coming Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

It should be a great day for a drive, hike, waterfall trip, or picnic at one of the park campgrounds with comfortable late-May weather expected.
