**SAVE THE DATE - OCTOBER 9TH**

Hello Lusby!

⚖️ The Appellate Court Case date has been set! Oral arguments for our case regarding the Lusby Villas will be heard on Friday October 9, 2026 at the Appellate Court of Maryland in Annapolis.

Here is what we know at this moment:
1. There is no set time for when our case will be heard, but best practice is to be at the court at 9:00am. If we get a time closer to the date, we will let you know.
2. We DO NOT know what judges are hearing the case and we will not know until the day of the case.
3. A "verdict" may or may not be made at this hearing. It's not unusual that after arguments are presented, the judges will need more time to deliberate. They also could give a ruling that day. We just don't know.

On to final business before the case:

We will also be trying to hold a General Meeting prior to the court hearing to answer any questions and review what our case is about. Stay tuned for that, but we are hoping for end of September.

Just wondering what the hell is so damn important that parents and their kids are parked far up and down along HG Trueman Road and walking along the busy roadway to go to Dowell E.S.? Whatever it is, risking your life isn't worth it. Go to school tomorrow on the first day and meet your teacher then. Or maybe they had a thing called "meet your desk". Past generations never had to deal with this nonsense. Kids today are weak.

Kudos to the older man dressed in a hi-vis lime green vest and hat picking up roadside trash recently. He was spotted in Solomons and also near the traffic circle by Mill Creek Middle. People who litter are trash.

Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area behind a business along H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby.
