If you are a Rep or Dem, early voting going on thru Thursday at the three early voting centers. If you miss doing early voting, election day is on Tuesday June 23 and it's best to go to your assigned voter location on that day.

Besides not voting for McDonkey, another person you should not vote for is Nancy Jane Taylor. She is on the Republican primary ballot for Governor, but she is dead. But even dead, she may be better choice than many. Sounds like she had an interesting life and faced many challenges. And congrats to her for making her way onto the ballot.

If former commissioner Linda Kelley was still alive, I doubt she would vote for McDonkey. In the comments below is a "Letter of the Editor" that Linda Kelley wrote to the Washington Post back in 2003 detailing the crap he was doing back in 2002. And I doubt those who were involved in "The Battle of Brickhouse" would vote for him either. See comments for screenshots from the WaPo. And I doubt elderly resident Betty Hunter would vote for him either, but that's another story of McDonkey being a McDonkey.

Well speaking of businesses closing or openings, yesterday was the end of True Value in Solomons. People came from near and far to attend the auction. And also up at the Industrial Park near the Benedict Bridge, the 231 Farm & Garden store is now history. Photo from a fan of Mount Lusby.

Well since my post yesterday was so popular, let's try another. What do you think will go in where Solomons True Value store is??? (It's across from the Solomons McDonald's.) I'm not going to say what I think will go there, but it rhymes with Holler Bree or maybe even a Holler Heneral. Stats on yesterday's post below. Over 40,000 views.
