Berry is considered one of America’s most important living writers and cultural critics. He has also spent his life farming behind a team of horses while at the same time producing more than 60 books of fiction, poetry, and essays.

Dr. Jason Peters, associate professor of English at Hillsdale College, will guide us through an exploration of Berry’s thoughts and works while also providing some humorous insights about the man himself. Dr. Peters, who has written about Wendell Berry and has a small farm himself, is well-suited to share with us about this beloved writer and defender of rural life.
