The Hawks, Falcons, and Braves are just 65 to 70 miles north in the Big A, Atlanta, as is the Hartsfield airport., Come stay for a sports week or movies and plays nearby Columbus or Atlanta.

Horseback riding is near at Roosevelt Place. There are numerous farms with animals a child can visit close by. The wild animal Safari is near in Pine Mtn. Luthersville city park has a small walking trail and picnic pavilion. Enjoy the last days of summer at Trammell House.
