Yesterday, our call for help reached more than 280,000 people. 🤍

What started as a plea to help our displaced residents spread across our community and beyond — reaching neighbors, local businesses, volunteers, community leaders, Senator Ashley Moody, and Governor Ron DeSantis.

And you showed up.

Because of the overwhelming generosity we’ve received, we are officially at MAX CAPACITY for physical donations. Our clubhouse and storage spaces are full, and we are incredibly grateful. 🥹🤍

For those still asking, “How can I help?” — please consider donating directly to our residents. We have added their GoFundMe accounts to the link in our Instagram bio, allowing support to go directly to the families rebuilding their lives.

83 homes were lost, but what we witnessed afterward was an entire community refusing to let those families face this alone.

Yesterday, our Cobalt community experienced an unimaginable loss. 83 of our neighbors lost their homes in the fire. 🤍

To our residents who were impacted: we are here for you. We know there are no words that can replace what was lost, but please know you will not navigate what comes next alone.

To the residents who immediately stepped up to help your neighbors, offering clothing, food, childcare, rides, supplies, places to stay, helping with pets, bringing food to our team, and simply asking, “What can I do?”… thank you.

Watching this community take care of one another during such a heartbreaking day is something our team will never forget.

We are continuing to collect donations for our displaced neighbors at the leasing office. Gift cards, new clothing, toiletries, pet supplies, blankets, food, water, and everyday essentials are greatly appreciated.

Most importantly, please continue taking care of one another.

Cobalt has always been more than buildings and apartment homes. It is all of you.

We love our community, and we will continue walking alongside you through the days ahead. 🤍
