Father’s Day shows up differently as the years go by.

For some, it is breakfast after church, a phone call, a favorite chair, or a bad joke told one more time.

For others, it is an empty seat. A quiet ache. A memory that shows up out of nowhere and stays a while.

Today is for the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, father figures, and good men who did the steady work – the rides, the repairs, the hard talks, the quiet sacrifices nobody saw.

And it is for everyone missing a voice they would love to hear again.

We love our local shops, especially this one! Lynchburg Soap Company scents are heavenly and they have a variety of products. We even carry their lotions in our little rental cabin.

We also give out coupons to our guests so you can go “smell” for yourself!
