Hey everyone,
I have had a lot of questions about my latest dragon so here is a quick run down.
First thing:
It's Golspar not Goldspar...no "D" in the name.
The owners granddaughter named him.
And we think its a wonderful name for a big dragon 😉
He weighs more then anyone guessed...
22,500lbs
He is 70ft long , 26ft tall and 55ft wingspan.
He is made from Steel not stainless
He has a rusted finish and then a Varathane clear coat.
He does, and will shoot fire.
We have Orlando Special Effects flying out this Tuesday for the final hook up and testing of the propane system.
The State is requiring very strict regulations and a few hoops that are required to get approval and necessary permits for him to be breathing fire nightly. As he is on a timer and not controlled by someone on site its a lot more difficult for approval.
But the team in Wisconsin is getting everything done ASAP to make it happen.
He is located in the Wisconsin Dells at the New Dellshire Resort opening May 10th to the public.
