Facebook allows you to easily create a fundraiser for your birthday. One of our members raised $150 for our program through their friends and family on Facebook this month for their birthday.

Remember that beautiful new facility we're planning to build? Brother Arnold Smith - our resident jack-of-all-trades - took the plans and painstakingly made a 3-D, take-apart model of the new building!

It is on display in the lounge, as are the most-current plans. Come on in, have a drink and check them out!

An update from our Lodge Secretary...

For those of you who may not have paid your annual dues yet a reminder that they are due as of the end of this past March. If you have already paid but haven't yet received your new card please contact the Lodge Secretary.

Our Lodge was very successful last year...
* Elks National Foundation per capita earnings exceeded Grand Lodge's guideline target
* The Veterans Committee continued helping the Seattle Veterans Hospital AS WELL AS the new, local Sebastian Place (apartments for homeless veterans)
* Best of all, the Tall Elks Children's Therapy Program - thanks to all of you! - came in FIRST in our 9 Lodge District...AND FIRST IN THE STATE of Washington for donations per capita! What a boost to helping kids in need!

Your Lodge is looking to do even more this year; keep watch at the Lodge or the Chimes for coming events.
