All going well. The river is flowing nicely and the new roof is complete. With all the wonderful rain this is an amazing green year.
We're almost booked solid for the summer but still have a few openings left, so give us a call if you'd like to spend some quality time on the bend of the river solo or with your family. It's a great place to vacation or write that book you're meaning to publish in naural inspired surroundings.

Happy New Year to all of you. This is a wonderful time of the year to reflect and follow through on objectives from the vantage point of 7,711 feet on the bend of The Saint Vrain River in the Roosevelt National Forest. The bears are now sleeping. So, a great time and place to meditate either alone or shared with someone special and if it gets too quiet there is always WiFi or Satelite TV . You can also venture out to all the nearby mountain towns. The coffee shop in Allenspark is hoping on Saturday nights with live music. They even have an open mike so you can bring your own instrument to jam with others or kick back and enjoy a local brew. The choice is yours.

Working on finishing touches to the new flagstone patio on the front of the cabin. It will be a wonderful place to sit and talk into the wee hours of the night underneath a canopy of twinkling stars and huge swaying pine trees.

Winter snows are ever so yielding to the warmth of longer sunnier days. There is a quiet mellowness this time of the year. A time to be alone. A time to think. A time to meditate as a means of getting in touch with inner promptings. It feels nourishing to synchronize the movement and whisperings of early spring river flows with insights of the possible in one's life.

Now the stream is only a trickle but in the next couple of months or so a transformation will take place shifting from a quieter tone to a mighty roaring flow. The greater the willingness and practiced ability to connect with the strength of nature the more powerful the outcome will manifest in one's life in a very real and practical way. Consider a solo guest visit at this auspicious time of the year or maybe with someone who inspires your inner spiritual flow.

A lot like summer today. Peaceful and healing. A place to meditate and simply be. Shedding any worries. Entering the valley of Indian spirits that continue to make their home there. Now feeling blessed and whole. This is a celebration of one's higher self. The one I love is inside of me. It is here I come to meet you, that we may play and be as one. I smile in this remembrance. And so it is.

Spring is here at last. The last snows are melting. Gentle breezes skirting along the river in symphony with some strong gusts of wind create a freshness and a sense of aliveness. Early tree buds are bursting forth in anticipation of the warmth ahead. The time of hibernation has come to a close. It is a time of transition into the possibilities that lie in wait...carpe diem!

We've had some cozy chilly nights as the colorful leaves make way for soon to come beautiful snow flakes that will nestle on the tall green pines.
