After an incredible life of 93 years, my mother, Lois Jean Hartranft Findley passed away early this morning. She is survived by all of her children. Mom was a Physical therapist in the Army, PE, Health, and Special Education Teacher, Volleyball and Track coach and a mother to 6 children and many others. While on the Island, she worked at the Public School, Little Bob’s Restaurant, and a business owner (Small Point Bed and Breakfast) Information on her services will be forthcoming. She will be missed.

As many of you know the high lake levels have washed out most of the Cauthorn trail. This has left behind lots of scrap metal and other debris. Our guests, the Lindley family spent an afternoon gathering up the metal.

Thanks Lindley family for helping clean up the shoreline!
