Hello there Shoreline family! Its been a while since our last update, so let's chat for a minute and catch up.
It can be difficult to provide updates at times. There's a lot of work that still needs to be done that requires permitting and vendor availability, and as such, it's not always possible to provide timelines for any of the remaining repairs.
Let's start with what we do have. All three buildings are open and available for occupancy. Guest laundry is up and operating equipped with new water fountain, and new coinless washers and dryers. Guest bathroom is available for pool and beach goers. Our pool is running smoothly. The beach has been cleaned and is ready to be enjoyed despite losing seven feet of sand with Hurricane Helene.
We are still waiting on all three elevators to be repaired, and we do not have any sort of timeline for when they will be completed. Our lobby is still empty, and we have turned room 212 into a temporary office. We are offering our Royal Cup coffee in the morning and a very small selection of prepacked danishes. We do have the permit for work to start on the lobby in April, and we hope that have the completed by the 1st of May.
Restaurants in the area are re-opening, but a lot of local businesses and homes will not come back. The Schooner has been torn down. The real estate office across the street from us also was torn down. Dockside Dave's is being completely gutted and remodeled. The Reef is operating at full capacity, and John's Pass is faring very well.
Archibald Park is scheduled to be open on April 1st, the Snack Shack to follow a few weeks later. The public parking and beach access lot just north of us is still closed, but the beach access just to our south (between us and Trillium) has been repaired.
