What hummingbird is this? It was seen in Madera Canyon at the Chuparosa B & B on August 26, 2026. I made a guess, but am unsure.

Happy 39th Anniversary and 71st birthday to my love. You had me with your professor jacket with patches and a sly smile when you walked into the room some 41 years ago. It was an instant spark. I should have known the remote places we would see when you presented me with zip together sleeping bags as my first gift. You introduced me to backpacking in remote places, the Napali Coast 4 day backpack as your honeymoon pick, climbing and descending places that caused a few tears of terror. I reciprocated by taking you snorkeling, traveling far beyond our country and upgrading slowly from outside sleeping on the ground under a picnic table at the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the bit more finer places to rest. Like a sports mobile. We have traveled the world together and traveled many miles within our relationship. I am proud of us that we have worked thru so much in this journey and we are tighter than ever. What a trip it has been!!! It has been worth every moment!
