Four years ago, we took a leap and became hotel owners.
We were new to the hospitality business, in our 40s, raising four kids, and full of ideas about what this property could become. We did not have decades of hotel experience behind us, but we did have determination, a willingness to learn, and a vision for creating something special in Madison, Indiana.
Since then, we have worked to make our hotel more than just a place to sleep. We want it to be a welcoming home base for couples, families, wedding guests, business travelers, friend groups, and anyone looking for a relaxing getaway along the Ohio River.
Madison has so much to offer; beautiful historic streets, local shops and restaurants, live music, outdoor recreation, Clifty Falls State Park, river views, community events, and the charm of one of Indiana’s most unique small towns.
We are still learning, growing, improving, and adapting. We listen to our guests, try new ideas, and continue investing in ways to make every stay better. Being a family-owned business means this property is personal to us. Our children have grown alongside it, and they have seen firsthand how much work, creativity, and heart go into building a business.
Our goal is to create a place where guests can stay, celebrate, gather, and experience everything Madison has to offer.
We are proud of how far we have come in four years, excited about the ideas we are still working on, and grateful to every guest, employee, local business, and community member who has supported us along the way.
We may not be a large hotel chain, but we are local, hands-on, willing to adapt, and committed to making your visit memorable.
