Inspired by downtown Madison after dark, this suite combines moody tones, found objects, and pieces of the building’s history to create something completely different from the rest of the hotel.

It’s become one of our most popular rooms—and once you step inside, it’s easy to understand why.

The Madison Farmers Market has temporarily relocated to the Lanier Mansion lawn and is filled with local farmers, makers, baked goods, fresh produce, and more.

Continuing our new room series at The Chandler Hotel with the Lanier Room inspired by one of Madison's most important historical figures, James F. D.
Lanier.

From the color palette inspired by the informal parlor at Lanier Mansion to the modern portrait painted by local artist Eric Phagan, this room blends Madison history with a more contemporary edge.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video
— the headboard is actually made from a repurposed original door from the building, which we'll share more about in another video soon.
