As hotel owners, we get to watch people discover this town every day. They come for a weekend, but they leave talking about the historic architecture, the river, the locally owned businesses, and the feeling that downtown still has its character.

Inspired by Clifty Falls State Park, this Grand Suite was designed as our own “11th trail”—a space that brings a little of Madison’s natural beauty indoors.

One of the most talked-about rooms at The Chandler started with a decision that many people told us not to make.

Inspired by downtown Madison after dark, this suite combines moody tones, found objects, and pieces of the building’s history to create something completely different from the rest of the hotel.
