PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING POSTING IN ITS ENTIRETY.

It is with sincere disappointment that, as Producer, I am forced to announce the cancellation of MRWL this year due to financial reasons. Please note, this does NOT effect the many events of WOOF’S King Street Pride Block Party (consisting of the Wednesday Tom of Finland movie showing, the Friday night lake cruise, the Friday and Saturday night parties, and the WOOF’S King Street Pride Block Party featuring BEARRACUDA). All of these events are still going on as planned. Also please note that MRWL’s cancellation is in NO WAY a reflection on WOOF’S or WOOF’S King Street Pride Block Party, as MRWL is a separate entity and was merely invited to share the weekend with these already established events. In fact, I encourage all of you, more than ever, to attend the events being held this weekend! Both your attendance and financial support are crucial to make this and other events a success.

For those of you who purchased MRWL weekend packages, we are working with the Bartell Theatre to provide refunds as quickly as possible. Your patience is appreciated.

As Producer, I take responsibility for the decision having to be made. I hope that the Community will rally around the many LGBT bars, businesses, organizations and groups in the State and help to support them financially.

Please continue to attend the Pride events occurring this coming weekend in Madison. Celebrate Wisconsin, Celebrate Madison, and Celebrate the Pride in being who you are.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MAGNUS WYNTER, Mr. Wisconsin Leather 2018 on your AMAZING showing at IML 40! Few men get to walk on that infamous stage, and you are forever one of the IML Brotherhood! It's not about a place finish, its about how you grow, what you share, and how you inspire. Wisconsin is PROUD of you and for all that you are. The storm isn't over, for Wynter continues!

Preparing for IML isn't just a one or two person job, but takes an entire community! As Magnus Wynter prepares to take Chicago and IML 40 by storm this week, it's important to recognize a few people who are working to let Magnus look his best as he represents Wisconsin Leather.

This SUNDAY, May 13, help send-off the Wynter Storm Front as it gets ready to overtake Chicago. Join the past MRWL’s as they send-off the current Mr Wisconsin Leather 2018, Magnus Wynter, towards his competition at International Mr Leather 40. Starting at 2pm at WOOF’S Madison, there will be high-jinx, fun, and free pizza. Get your picture with Magnus’ boots and sign his Leather Pride flag as part of his A Year In My Boots Project. IML will never be the same as this Wynter descends on the Windy City!

Get ready to break out of your winter hibernation and celebrate the return of Fe**sh Fridays at Club Icon in Kenosha!

Starting on Friday, April 20, and continuing each 3rd Friday of the month, Club Icon invites you to show your kinky side and all things fe**sh! Join our Mr. Wisconsin Leather 2018, Magnus Wynter on Friday, April 20th, as Leather Night makes it's return for the wild monthly event....Dom/sub, Leather puppy, bondage....whatever it is, come out and show it off!

Leather Night on Fe**sh Friday begins at 10pm and goes til closing. Cheer on Magnus as he gets ready to represent the Wisconsin Leather Community next month at IML. Magnus will be continuing his "A Year In My Boots" campaign, so get your photo in your gear for his year-long photographic documenting, and sign his Leather Pride flag!

It is with great sadness that MRWL reflects on the sudden passing of our friend and Brother, Mark Bedker. Mark had a true Leather heart and caring soul, always ready to lend an encouraging word or a helping hand. Mark could easily blend into the background to let others shine, but his own light burned brightly and served as a beacon for guidance for so many.

Mark - you will always be an MRWL Brother, and your spirit will live on in all that MRWL does and be carried by us all.

Our family may grow, but it will always be small enough that a loss like Mark will be felt forever. God speed Mark, and may your inspiration continue to shine.

This Saturday, November 18....as part of the "Wynter is Coming Tour"...it's MEN IN BOOTS at WOOF'S! Join Mr Wisconsin Leather 2018 Magnus Wynter and come out in your favorite pair of boots....biker boots, military boots, cowboy boots, construction boots...it doesn't matter, just put them on and show them off! Magnus will be having the Wisconsin Debut of his "A Year in My Boots" Campaign, where he will be asking those in attendance to pose for a photo with his Leather Boots and sign his Leather Pride flag, in a year long campaign to record his Mr Wisconsin Leather Title Year, and celebrate how sexy Leather is! But the fun doesn't just stop there, DJ Tony Ritschard will be pounding out the music, and be sure to see WOOF'S very own BootBlack, LeatherMaid, to have your boots shined. 10pm til Close.....it's all about BOOTS!
