With the arrival of spring, we’ve been busy welcoming back-to-back guests who’ve been soaking up all the delights of Riverside Cabin. From the quiet beauty of winter to the fresh energy of spring, the changing seasons here have been nothing short of magical ✨

And it’s not just our guests enjoying the shift… as winter fades and spring awakens, even nature is coming to life. Our resident spotted salamander 🦎 has made a cosy home in the koi pond 🐟 💧

We can’t wait to welcome you to Riverside Cabin in 2026, so we thought we’d share a few of the thoughtful, home-from-home touches you can enjoy during your stay.

Every sink is stocked with hand and dish soap, and our bathrooms include body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience.

The coffee station ☕️ is fully stocked and ready to go alongside the Keurig machine, and the popcorn machine 🍿 (with kernels provided) is set up for the perfect movie night. The pantry also includes essential cooking staples to make mealtimes easy.

For modern comfort, the cabin features a WiFi-enabled washer and dryer, complete with detergent and fabric softener. You’ll also find Bluetooth speakers in the bathrooms—perfect for relaxing with music or a podcast while you unwind in the bath 🛀 or shower 🚿.

One of our most talked-about features? The smart toilet 🚽. Once you experience a warm toilet seat, you may wonder how you ever lived without it!

Preparing Riverside Cabin for our Airbnb guests is always a joy—but whenever I’m not hosting, you’ll most likely find me behind the wheel of my classic Volkswagen Beetle, Ms. Peper 🚙. Being part of the VW Cruisers – Virginia community makes local parades and cruises even more special.

With our Airbnb located in beautiful Madison, VA, it was a perfect opportunity to decorate Ms. Peper with festive lights and holiday flair for the Madison Christmas Parade last night. ✨🚙🎄🎅
