Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the Memorial Day activities. It may have been a smaller crowd but it was a fun and mighty crowd! A special shout out to Karen Kesler, Brittany Shaw, Alison Butler, Courtney Locker, James Butler, Roger Ponder and Cody Ponder for all of your help! It truly takes a village to pull off this type of stuff. A huge shout out to Kara Butler! There is no way I could ever handle a weekend of events without her. No matter what it is, she’s there to help.

Memorial Day weekend activities!!

RAFFLES
50/50 tickets and tickets for a chance to win a Lottery Scratch Off Card bundle
$1 per ticket
$5 for 6 tickets
$10 for 15 tickets

Ducks for the Duck Race on Sunday afternoon - $2 per duck

Saturday, May 23rd

10:30 am – Hayrack ride through the campground (free)

11:00 am – Cake Walk (25 cents per ticket) Please bring donations to the clubhouse by 10:30 am

2:00 pm – Hayrack ride through the campground (free)

2:30 pm – Golf Cart Derby – Test your luck as you race to the finish line! ($2 per round)

3:30 pm – Heads or Tails (free) – Can you outlast everyone else with the right guess?

5:00 – 7:00 pm – Patty Daddy Food Truck (accepts cash, credit/debit cards and Apple Pay)

After Dark Scavenger Hunt - See if you can find all of the glow in the dark items that have been hidden. A list of items will be available in the clubhouse. (Free to participate and no prize…just fun to look for the items.) Please do not move or take the items so everyone has a chance to find them.

Sunday, May 24th

10:30 am - Hayrack ride through the campground (free)

11:00 am – Darts – Come try this outdoor darts game and see if you can score the most points! ($2 per person)

2:00 pm – Duck Race – Come cheer for your duck to cross the finish line first! ($2 per duck)
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

2:30 pm (or after the duck race) – 3:30 pm – Ice Cream Social – Come visit with your fellow campers and enjoy some ice cream and toppings! (Free – donations appreciated)

6:30 pm – 50/50 raffle drawing & Lottery Scratch Off Card Bundle drawing (In the main room of the clubhouse)

7:00 pm – BINGO – GUARANTEED $50 payout for the last game!!
You can play with paper cards or the reusable cards
$5 for 6 cards (10 games)
$3 for 3 cards (10 games)
If you need to purchase a dauber, they will be available for $3 each.
CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE

Monday, May 25th

9:00 am – Memorial Day Program – Join us as we honor all service members.
Donuts will be available in the clubhouse at 8:30 am.

Clean-up day has been rescheduled. Join us Saturday, May 16th at 9 am. We will have donuts to start the day and lunch at noon for those who come out to help. We will be splitting wood and hope to have a good group to focus on that task. If you have a chainsaw it would be nice to have extra because we have some larger logs that need cut down before we can split them. There will be a few other tasks that need to be completed.

First BINGO of the season is Saturday, May 9th at 7 pm. We’ll be celebrating our moms!

POSTPONED - Clean up day that was scheduled for Saturday, April 18th has been postponed due to potential bad weather. A new date will be posted when it has been decided.

Reminder: The first potluck of the season will be Thursday, April 23rd at 6 pm. The club will be providing ham and beans. We ask that members bring a side or dessert to share. Don't forget your table service. Hope to see everyone there!

As shared in the Spring newsletter we will no longer be mailing newsletters. The cost of postage keeps increasing and it isn’t cost effective to mail hundreds of newsletters. We will keep things posted on Facebook but will also be sending emails with announcements and reminders. If you would like to receive emails about club events, please give us your email. You can drop by the office and give it to Marie or PJ or send it to the club email at [email protected].
