For more than two years, we drove past a piece of history and watched as the property quickly declined.
Day after day, our hearts felt heavy seeing what was happening to such a great place. Deferred maintenance, empty spaces, overgrown trees, collapsing buildings, piles of leaves, and an atmosphere that felt almost ghostly and eerie. As the leaves piled up, the campers left. The park had lost its sense of community and its morale.
But what were we to do? We’ve never owned an rv park….We prayed about it; ALOT. We went back and forth with the owner for months. And eventually, we took a leap of faith and purchased the park.
Our first priority was to make it a safe, family friendly place that people could be proud to call home. Some guests chose to stay, while most were asked to leave as we worked to create the kind of community we envisioned.
Through literal blood, sweat, tears, and a whole lot of leaves, we slowly began uncovering what had been there all along: a beautiful piece of land in our gorgeous Natural State. Little by little, we watched this place come back to life.
Countless neighbors and members in our Community called with very kind words and their support.
Then, message by message. Call by call. Camper by camper, people began taking a chance on us and choosing to make this park their home. Before we knew it, we were filling up.
We want to take a moment to simply say thank you.
Thank you to our community for believing in what we were trying to build. Thank you for choosing your local RV park and making it a place to call home.
We are truly sorry to everyone who has reached out and is currently on our waiting list. We wish we had a place for every person who wants to be part of our family.
At the same time, we are incredibly proud to be able to offer affordable living during such a difficult economy.
We have a beautiful piece of Arkansas, a place with history, and most importantly, a wonderful community of people.
We truly love our guests and are so grateful for every person who has trusted us, supported us, and chosen to call this place home.
Our “Save the Park” dream worked because of you guys. We did it. We saved it.
