Your next stay at the Mancelona Train Depot just wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the famous Mitten Licken Donuts right in downtown Mancelona. From early morning coffee runs to sweet treats after a day of exploring Northern Michigan, it’s become a favorite part of the experience for so many of our guests.

We’re also beyond thankful for every visitor who leaves behind kind notes, memories, and little messages for future guests to discover. Those handwritten words have become part of the magic here at the depot and remind us why we love sharing this place with all of you

Winter’s giving us one last magical moment!
The snow has returned to the Mancelona Train Depot for what might be the final winter wonderland before spring arrives. Everything is quiet, peaceful, and covered in a fresh blanket of white, like winter saying its final goodbye.
Soon the snow will melt, the days will get longer, and the warm Northern Michigan air will take over. But for now, we’re soaking in this last beautiful snowy scene before spring begins.
