There’s just something about a Vermont summer. 💚

Quiet back roads, green mountains, long days, and nowhere I’d rather be than in the saddle with a young horse beneath me. Life slows down a little out here—and somehow, everything feels exactly as it should.

I’ve traveled to a lot of beautiful places, but when summer comes around, Vermont is the only place I want to call home. 🌿🐴

A local swimming spot you don't want to miss this summer is the Stratton Snowmaking Pond.

It sits quiet and clear at the base of the mountain, the same water that covers the trails with snow in December. The kids and I are out enjoying a float this week.

Dogs are welcome too! Just promise us they'll come back to Barnstead dry. 😏

Ask us for directions and we'll share all of our favorite summer swim spots.

This is what small town Vermont actually looks like.

Half an hour from Barnstead, Weston's Village Green has antique shops and galleries, plus the The Vermont Country Store just steps away. Around the corner, Weston Theater Company has put on some of the best shows we've seen. Rent is next on the schedule.

Definitely worth the drive if you're staying with us!
