🌸🫖 We kicked off our summer season with a bang, and our Tea Party theme has been an absolute hit!
For those of you with upcoming reservations, don’t forget to pack your favorite tea party attire for Saturday lunch. The ladies have been having so much fun wearing tea hats, dressing up, taking photos with friends, and making memories together.
Of course, the delicious food has been a highlight too! Between our new menu, a brand-new class, fun photo opportunities, and lots of exciting surprises throughout the Inn, there’s plenty to look forward to this season.

Well, apparently I’ve become important enough to have a hacker. 🤦‍♀️
If you receive an email from “me” asking you to fill out a form with your credit card information, birthday, Social Security number, first-born child, favorite color, blood type, or the name of your childhood pet… please don’t.
I promise I do not need your credit card information, and if I wanted to know your birthday, I’d probably just stalk your Facebook profile like a normal person. 😂

Sneak Peek Time! 👀🌸

The contractors have practically moved in, there's dust everywhere, and we've been working nonstop getting the INN ready for summer!

This year we're adding a little extra fun with our NEW Summer Tea Party Theme! 🫖✨

Join us on Saturday at lunch for a chance to dress up and make memories with your friends. If you'd like to wear a dress or come dressed up for the occasion, we'd love that! We'll provide the tea party hats, photo props, and photo opportunities for plenty of laughs and scrapbook-worthy pictures.

And here's another little surprise... our summer menu will be inspired by many of the foods, desserts, and special touches Chris and I have chosen for our wedding. As we're keeping our June 27th wedding very small with only close family and friends, we're excited to share a little piece of our celebration with you all summer long. 💕🥂

Lots of exciting changes are happening around here, and we can't wait to share them with you. Summer at the INN is going to be one to remember! Stay tuned by Thursday you will be seeing some more finished pictures.

Today was another BIG progress day at the INN! 🌿🎨☀️

Landscaping is underway, painting projects are happening, and little by little everything is starting to come together for summer season and our wedding that is quickly approaching. 💕

A HUGE thank you to Stacy and Chip for absolutely working their butts off helping me get things done. I truly could not do this alone.

We’ve had several people ask how they could help, so I figured I’d throw it out there… if anyone would like to join us this Sunday, or Monday for landscaping, painting, planting flowers, cleanup, or just being an extra set of hands, we would truly appreciate it more than you know.

It takes a village sometimes… and this little riverside place has been built with a whole lot of love, hard work, laughter, and amazing people over the years. 🩷

Summer at the INN is going to be beautiful… we can finally see it all coming together!

🍷☀️ NEW EVENT ALERT at Gotta-Scrap Inn ☀️🍷

Stacy and I are SO excited to announce our FIRST ANNUAL Wine, Pool & shopping Weekend at the INN! 💕

This weekend is all about relaxing, regrouping, laughing with friends, and getting away from the stress of everyday life. Spend the day wine tasting at local wineries, thrift shopping for hidden treasures, lounging by the pool with a good book, enjoying cocktails with friends, and simply slowing down for a minute. 🍷🛍️📚☀️

You can join us just for the wineries, stay one night, or make it a full weekend getaway with a two-night stay at the INN.

Our newly updated pool area will be the perfect place to recharge, unwind, and soak up some sunshine with your favorite people. 💕

This is the very first year we are offering this special event and trust me… you are NOT going to want to miss it!

We are slowly checking things off the list and getting everything ready for our guests this summer. Between the pool updates, repairs, painting, landscaping, freshening up rooms, and all the little details behind the scenes… it’s been a lot of work, long days, and a few unexpected surprises along the way.

But seeing it all finally starting to come together makes us SO excited for what’s ahead. We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy all the updates, relax, create memories, and make themselves at home here at Gotta-Scrap Inn. 💖

Well… what we thought was going to be a “simple pool liner replacement” quickly turned into a full-blown renovation project. 😂

Between broken parts, unexpected delays, discovering a leak that caused mold underneath the old liner, acid washing, repairs, and LOTS of problem-solving… we are FINALLY seeing progress!

The new liner is in, the coping around the pool has been freshly painted, and next up is painting the fence, setting out new furniture, and getting the entire pool area ready for summer at the INN. ☀️

Owning a business (and a property this size) definitely keeps us on our toes, but we’re excited because it’s all coming together beautifully and we cannot wait for our June guests to enjoy it.

Every year we try to give the INN a little extra love… and this year the pool area is getting a BIG makeover. 💙

Thank you all for your patience, encouragement, and excitement along the way. We’re getting closer every single day!

A whole lot of behind-the-scenes magic is happening at the INN right now… and let me tell you… nothing ever goes quite as easy as planned. 😂

Landscaping is underway, the new pool liner is officially going in, and of course once everything was opened up we discovered a few “surprises” that needed repaired and replaced along the way. But… we are pushing forward and hoping to have the pool up and running by Memorial Day weekend! ☀️💦

Inside the INN, every room is getting a little extra love too. New fresh touches, deep cleaning, organizing, decorating… all the little details that help make this place feel cozy, welcoming, and special for all of you.

Owning a business is definitely never boring… but seeing it all come together makes the stress worth it. We’re excited for another amazing season of memories, laughter, creativity, late-night snacks, and women recharging at the INN. ❤️
I hope you enjoy all these before pictures because by the end of next week, I hope to show you all the after pictures.
