The downstairs massage room is coming back to life! ✨

After the basement flood, this poor room definitely needed some love — and we’ve been working hard to put it all back together.

I am SO happy with how that black ceiling turned out! 😍 It completely changed the room and gave it the cozy, moody feel I was hoping for. And yes… those twinkle lights had to stay. 😂✨

We still have a little ways to go, but new carpeting is coming next week, and then I can finally start putting all the finishing touches in place.

Sometimes a disaster gives you an excuse to make something even better than it was before. ❤️

Well… apparently running an Inn, dealing with a flooded basement, pool issues, ordering product, trying to find new wholesalers after the devastating Notions Marketing fire AND actually taking care of our guests doesn’t leave a whole lot of time for Facebook. 😂🤦‍♀️

There is still only ONE of me, and unfortunately social media usually ends up at the bottom of the list!

BUT… that doesn’t mean we haven’t been having an AMAZING summer at the Inn! ❤️

I have lots of pictures to catch you up on because I absolutely want every group that has stayed with us to get their moment on our page. I’ll also be sharing some of the basement progress as we slowly put everything back together and make it even better than before.

And somehow in the middle of ALL of that, we pulled off another fabulous DIVA WEEKEND! 👑💃🍹

Our Divas showed up ready to have FUN, and as always, they did not disappoint! 😂 Between the laughs, friendships, pool time and everything else that comes along with Diva Weekend, it was another one for the books. I have plenty of pictures from that weekend coming too!

And then there was our WINE WEEKEND! 🍷🍇

What. A. Weekend.

The bus was FULL, the wine was flowing, and the laughs and smiles were at an all-time high! We even had LIVE MUSIC BY THE POOL! 🎶🍷☀️ It was seriously such an amazing weekend.

And I have to give a HUGE shout-out to Stacy, because she did an absolutely amazing job helping put our Wine Weekend together and making sure everyone had a fabulous time. ❤️

And she’s not done with us yet! 😂 Stacy will also be hosting our Cruise Weekend on December 5th, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us for that one, come along! 🛳️🍹 I have a feeling we’re going to make a few more memories we probably shouldn’t put on Facebook. 😂

And speaking of things I haven’t forgotten…

THE WEDDING! 💍❤️

I promise I did NOT forget about all those wedding pictures! We actually just received the VIDEOS last night, too, so add that to Amy’s ever-growing list. 😂 I’ll be working on getting more wedding pictures AND videos posted because there is still so much from that day I want to share with all of you.

So if you haven’t seen pictures from your weekend yet… they are coming! I promise I haven’t forgotten about you. ❤️

And now it’s Monday morning… we’re back to working on the basement while simultaneously getting the Inn ready for another group of guests checking in TODAY.

Because apparently I enjoy chaos. 😂🤦‍♀️

Our Gotta-Scrap Inn family has always been about so much more than crafting—it’s about the friendships we’ve built over the years.

Many of you know and love our dear friend Shelia. You also know her incredible son, Brian, and the unwavering love and devotion she poured into caring for him throughout his life. While Shelia has been courageously undergoing a bone marrow transplant and fighting leukemia, she experienced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing Brian while she was still in quarantine at the hospital.

Many of you have also supported Shelia through the annual fundraiser we host for Jonny & Friends, a camp that provides unforgettable experiences for children and adults with disabilities—a ministry that was especially close to her heart because of Brian.

With Shelia’s blessing, we are sharing Brian’s obituary below for those who would like to celebrate his life, share a memory, or leave a message of love and support for Shelia during this incredibly difficult time.

Shelia, if you’re reading this, please know your Gotta-Scrap Inn family is wrapping our arms around you. We love you, we’re praying for you, and we’re here for you. ❤️

If you’re thinking, “She’s STILL posting wedding pictures?” …the answer is absolutely yes. 🤷‍♀️

The photographer keeps sending them, and apparently I have zero self-control. Every time I think I’m done, another batch arrives and I’m right back down memory lane.

BUT—plot twist: I’m actually posting these for a reason this time.

I’ve been waiting to share this one with you… 🤣🌸

One of my absolute favorite parts of our fairytale wedding was skipping the traditional Flower Girls and going with… FLOWER DUDES! 🍻🌸

These guys completely understood the assignment, stole the show, and had everyone laughing from the second they walked down the aisle. They brought the perfect mix of fun, personality, and just enough chaos to make the moment unforgettable.

I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. 💕 Enjoy one of my favorite memories from the best day ever!

Another fabulous weekend at the Inn with another amazing group of ladies! 💕🥂

One of the BEST parts? Watching new friendships form…so much so that these ladies already booked their next weekend together! 😂 That makes my heart so happy.

The tea party was once again a HUGE hit 👒☕️, the pool definitely got its share of attention ☀️💦, and there was no shortage of laughs, memories and maybe just a tiny bit of trouble. 😉

Actually…there WAS trouble. One lady even landed herself in the NAUGHTY CORNER for trying to do my job! 😂 And yes, for those wondering…we have an ACTUAL naughty corner at the Inn. Behave yourselves, ladies! 🤣

What a FABULOUS Mother-Daughter Midweek we had at the Inn! 💕☀️

There was crafting, swimming, Minute-to-Win-It games, lots of laughing, and of course a little friendly competition! 😂 The girls learned some fun new crafts, worked on their own projects, and definitely kept us entertained along the way.

But my favorite part was watching the moms, grandmas, daughters, and granddaughters just spend time together. 💗 No rushing from one thing to the next—just laughing, creating, playing, talking, and making those special memories that they’ll hopefully remember for years to come.

These are the kinds of days that remind me why I love what we do at the Inn so much. 🥰

Thank you to all of our amazing moms, grandmas, and girls who joined us and made our Mother-Daughter Midweek such a blast! I think this one definitely needs to happen again! 💕✂️🏊‍♀️
