This account does amazing work of documenting disappearing motel history and photos; but the comments section is full of people reminiscing about family roadtrips, childhood motel stays and the longing for Motels to be saved and revived, with what seems to be to no knowledge of all the amazing people doing just that! This is the why! "Thankyou for an amazing stay! This hotel means so much, from spending 33 beautiful years visiting Mancos - where my Mom was born and raised. Thankyou for preserving this space - and making sure parts of the town still capture the original magic we all know and love. Ya'll are amazing - and well see you next year"
