SLL Conditions Update: βοΈποΈ
As of Wednesday, May 20, Spirit Lake Road is open! π€πΌ
The road remains muddy in some areas, and there is still snow along the final mile approaching the lake.
The lodge received approximately 16 inches of snow from the most recent storm system, but conditions are improving quickly and the snow is melting rapidly.βοΈ
Based on the current weather forecast, we anticipate most of the remaining snow will melt within the next few days and road conditions will continue to dry out. ποΈ
Spirit Lake is now ice-free and ready for fishing! π£
We were actually catching quite a few good hold over fish this last weekend! π
Spirit Lake Campground is scheduled to open for the season beginning May 22.
If you are planning to camp at Spirit Lake over Memorial Day weekend, please use caution, as portions of the road may still be muddy or snow-covered in spots. ποΈ
As a reminder, opening day for the Lodge remains
