This beauty one might found just 15 minute ride from our Glass House on the way to my favorite "Honey bee man" as we call him!

This photo was taken last year on the road to Upper Herring Lake off of M-22 north of Arcadia. This was less than a quarter mile off of M-22. Colors were at peak.

Take those color tours while the colors are peaking and enjoy the sights the Northwest Michigan area has to offer. Purchase autumn locally grown produce at the many stands along the major routes of M-22 and US 31 and sample local menus at the many locations to stop and grab a bite to eat. And don't forget to stop at the many specialty businesses that offer jams and jellies, gifts and local art and crafts.

You can also make a weekend out of the trip by staying at one of the many motels that can be found along the way.
