Yoopers have been calling folks from below the Bridge "trolls" for decades. Turns out the biggest one lives up here. Benny the Beard Fisher is about 30 feet long and 14 feet tall, sitting along the Manistique River in Germfask, and he's under 30 minutes from your room at the Sands. Tag the troll in your life who needs to come meet him.

A lot of you remember this place as Gray Wolf Lodge. Some of you remember it as Breakers. We're grateful for every version, and every guest, that got it here.

What you see now is the result of a lot of sweat, a few surprises behind the walls, and a good deal of stubbornness. There's still work ahead. We're not hiding that. But we wanted to pause and share what's been done, because it's easy to forget how far things have moved when you're in the middle of it.
