We would like to thank everyone for another great snowmobile season! As the season comes to an end we will begin our spring cleaning April 1 to get ready for an awesome camping season! We will reopen Friday May, 1st. Until then, come visit us for our end of winter specials! Can't wait to see you, Cheers!

03/23/2026

As we start to wrap up another snowmobile season, there is one group of people that we never want to let a season go by without recognizing. To every single landowner who allows our trails to pass through their private property, thank you. It is as simple as that, but it truly means the world to us and to every rider who got out on the trails this season.

Our trail system would not be what it is without your generosity and trust, and that is something we do not take lightly. You are the backbone of what we do out here and because of you, riders have been able to experience some incredible miles this season.

From all of us at SCMTA and everyone who has hit the trails this winter, we are beyond grateful. Here is to our landowners, we could not do any of this without you!

03/16/2026

SCMTA has received several reports of snowmobiles traveling off the designated groomed trails on 421. We would like to take this opportunity to remind all riders of the importance of staying within the marked boundaries for the safety of the community and the future of our trail system.

First and foremost, staying on the trail is vital for your own protection. Areas off the groomed path often contain hidden hazards such as stumps, rocks, and water holes that are not visible under the snow. Venturing into these areas can lead to serious equipment damage or personal injury.

Furthermore, a significant portion of our trail system exists only because local landowners graciously allow us to pass through their private property. This access is a privilege, not a right, and it depends entirely on riders respecting their land. When snowmobiles go off-trail, it violates the trust of these landowners and puts our land-use agreements at risk.

If we cannot ensure that riders will remain on the marked paths, we face the very real possibility of losing these trail connections permanently. We ask that everyone ride responsibly and respect the markers so we can continue to enjoy these trails for years to come.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us protect our trail system.
