Good news for anyone looking for a beautiful stay in Michigan’s U.P. during the fall. We had one cabin taken for two months, but that got cancelled so we have a lot of availability now. We love it up here in Autumn – cool, beautiful, late September the leaves start to change and give us the most awesome colors almost through all of October. (But you know how the weather is – some years don’t cooperate with the best colors that long, but even the poor color is beautiful.) It’s a fantastic time to go sight-seeing, trail riding, small game hunting, etc. And it’s all available around our cabins. We are totally full for July - but if you would like a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy yourself after the middle of August, we have the place for you. August is a great time to visit the U.P. - and so is September and October!! We have beautiful autumns, full of color and wonderful weather (usually). There's good hunting, fishing, and site seeing. So if you like the fall temperatures, with less traffic and beautiful sites, this is the time to rent a cabin and kick back. We'd love to be able to serve you. RESERVATIONS are filled up in July now BUT due to cancellations, we have openings in AUGUST. Our larger cabin (UP North) is now available August 20 to September 2. This is a perfect time for a vacation up here!! The bugs - mosquitos, wood ticks, etc. - are all gone in August. And August usually has beautiful weather - underscore usually because no one can predict weather two months from now. But serioiusly, August is a beautiful month, and UP North is a beautiful cabin. NEWS - FLASH: Due to illness, one of our regulars just cancelled their JULY reservation. Twin Lakes is now open July 20 to July 31 this summer. I have had to turn down a number of inquiries for July, so if you were one of them, please call back. Check out our website and see the beauty of this cabin and the area around it. It sleeps 6 comfortably, and can sleep two more on sofas. Call if you're interested at 906 341 3545. We'd love to serve you!

Things keep changing fast! The only July openings now are the 14th to the 17th (Twin Lakes) and the 19th to the 22th (UP North). We are so very happy to have such interest in our cabins. We know they are unique simply because they are only a couple of miles from downtown, yet they are totally private with woods around them, and they each have their own private lake. If anyone wants to know more about them, please go to either of our websites to see pictures of each room plus lots of pictures our renters have added showing the fun things they find to do there. Once again, our websites are listed below - there are two different sites, but they both show the same pictures and information.

Twin Lakes cabin just filled up for June. But UP North has one opening left, if you're looking for a great place to stay. Our larger cabin (UP North) is available June 16 to 21. It sleeps up to 10 people. Check it out on our website.

Here it is May and unfortunately we are still "shut down" in Michigan. But when travel is open again, please know that our cabins are available all May and most of June. You can go to either website and check the calendar for available dates. If you've been couped up for the a couple of months, you'll love our open area, beautiful woods & water views, fishing, swimming, 4-wheeling (with your machines), hiking, sight-seeing, etc. It's quiet and peaceful and a wonderful break from having to "stay in and stay safe". We want you to stay safe, but when you're ready, so are our cabins! 😊

Our last renter wrote the following note to us. "Things I love about this cabin (Twin Lakes): 1. The beautiful wood interior 2. The great washer and dryer 3. The openness of the floor plan 4. Lots of windows 5. The quietness. When I stand on the porch, it's still and quiet. You would think town was 30 miles away instead of 3 miles away. 6. The view of the lake.❣️
