Whispering Pines Resort Whispering Pines Resort is just 2 hours away from Mackinaw Bridge and 5 hours from Milwaukee. Four of the cabins have two bedrooms and sleep 4 to 6 people.

We enjoy 300 feet of lake frontage on beautiful Thunder Lake, bordering Hiawatha National Forest, also known as Great Lakes National Forest. Whether you are a sportsman looking for excellent fishing and hunting, a snowmobilier or bicyclist in search of great trails, or just a family looking for a quiet get away, Whispering Pines is your destination for four seasons of fun! Our Cabins:

Whispering

Pines Resort has five charming cabins with lake frontage and modern amenities. Cabin 5, our largest, sleeps 8 and has a TV, fireplace and deck. With rental of any cabin, all bedding is provided (sheets, blankets, pillows). Guests are asked to bring their own bath towels. All cabins have bathrooms with showers. The kitchen in each cabin is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee pot, stove, refrigerator and microwave. Cabins are heated and have a deck or screened porch and picnic table. Cabin rentals include use of the fish-cleaning house, picnic area, fire pit, barbecue grill, horseshoe pit and a boat.
