New heat/AC units are being installed! These new units crank out some serious BTU's to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We are only a few steps away from being ready to open the domes. The official open date will be announced soon.

We did it! Our first step in addressing the unfortunate decay of the previously beloved building on our site is underway!

Our Brownfield Plan has been approved by Schoolcraft County Council! The first one in the county!

While some people look at these photos and see a daunting remodeling effort or maybe even a tear-down project in waiting, we see the future home of a fantastic mixed-use destination. There will certainly be some demolition, but we’ll save what we can. Please be patient with us – it’s a big undertaking for a small business owner.

Over the next several years we will continue to bring our ultimate vision to life in phases of redevelopment.

2026-2027 will see continued investment in our campground and its new gathering spaces, trails, and events. THEN, onto the building – we can’t wait, and we deeply appreciate this community’s support of our efforts to remake this special property! Schoolcraft Tourism & Commerce
