Magnuson Grand Pikes Peak Hotel is currently hiring a Housekeeper for our team. We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to details. To create a clean and orderly environment for our guests. Must be able to multi-task and prioritizes with excellent customer service while maintaining a positive respectful guest relation at all times. Needs to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.

Job Functions:

· Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
· Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
· Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
· Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
· Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
· Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
· Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
· Ability to maintain a high level of performance
· Customer-oriented and friendly
· Prioritization and time management skills
· Working quickly without compromising quality
· Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops, and sinks
· Making beds and changing linens
· Washing windows
· Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
· Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
· Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
· Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
· Steaming and cleaning draperies
· Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
· Positive, energetic personality, willingness to learn and commitment to support and advance the image and reputation of the hotel.

Qualifications:

· Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
· Ability to multi task
· Ability to work under pressure
Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.
Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling, crouch, and kneeling while cleaning
Strong attention to detail
Must be flexible in hours and days available to work. Work shifts vary by day and week and depending upon business needs.
Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
Work quickly without compromising quality
Ability to work as part of a team
