🌲 May 1 – September 7 | Tour D’ Loon
Travel throughout the Mercer area and visit participating locations on this fun Northwoods tour! Stop in at local businesses, explore the area, and vote for your favorite stop. Participants are entered for a chance to WIN one of three gift certificates while discovering the unique shops, attractions, and hospitality Mercer has to offer.
🛍 May 1 – May 31 | May Days in Mercer
Celebrate spring in Mercer by shopping, dining, and exploring local experiences all month long. Businesses throughout the community host specials, promotions, and events that showcase the welcoming charm and unique offerings found across Mercer.
🚴 June 1 – July 31 | Meet Me in Mercer on Wheels – Bicycle Scavenger Hunt
Grab your bike and explore Mercer in a whole new way! This community bicycle scavenger hunt encourages riders of all ages to travel around town, find clues, and discover new locations throughout the area. It’s a fun and active way to experience Mercer while promoting biking and outdoor recreation.

🏷 June 20 | Town-Wide Rummage Sale
Treasure hunters get ready! Spend the day walking or driving throughout Mercer visiting dozens of community-wide rummage sales. From antiques and collectibles to household items and hidden gems, you never know what you’ll find.

🎣 June 26 – 28 | Mercer Open All-Species Fishing Tournament
Join anglers from across the region for this family-friendly fishing tournament on Mercer’s beautiful Northwoods waters. Divisions include Can-Yak (canoe/kayak) and Open 2-Day Tournament, giving anglers of all skill levels a chance to compete and enjoy a great weekend of fishing.

🇺🇸 July 4 | Mercer 4th of July Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day in true Northwoods style! Mercer’s celebration includes:
• A community parade organized by the Chamber
• Park activities and family fun hosted by the Mercer Park Board
• Fireworks at dusk presented by the Mercer Fire Department

🦆 August 5 | 46th Annual Mercer Loon Day Craft Fair
Downtown Mercer transforms into a vibrant craft fair with hundreds of vendors, food stands, and community booths. Visitors can stroll through downtown, shop unique handmade items, enjoy great food, and celebrate one of Mercer’s most beloved summer traditions.

🔥 September 18 – 19 | Mercer Backyard BBQ Cook-Off
Come taste incredible barbecue as talented pitmasters compete for honors from our panel of judges. Visitors can sample delicious BBQ creations while enjoying a fun fall weekend event. New this year: the cook-off will be hosted at a special partner location in the Mercer area (TBD).

🎃 October 8 – 11 | Pumpkin Run ATV/UTV Rally
One of Mercer’s biggest fall events! This four-day rally includes:
• A Poker Run throughout Iron County
• The festive Great Pumpkin Parade through downtown Mercer
• Pumpkin Party with live music and drinks
• ATV Pull, raffles, cash prizes, and more
Always held Columbus Day Weekend and a must-attend event for ATV/UTV enthusiasts.
