Sept 1, 2017 the Birch Creek Inn has closed their doors. After 28 years in business, the innkeepers are retiring. The property has been sold and will be developed and no longer a motel.

Well, it has been awhile since I have written here. Been a buy summer. Weather has been weird, rain and lots of wind at times. We lost the top of a tree the last storm. Lots of events going on in Manitowoc/Two Rivers area. Flowers are blooming, last weekend the guests even cooked out and had a great time. Be sure to check out our website and we are now on line for reservations.

Well we have gone from snow to sleet and rain. Today is St Patrick's Day and it cloudy. Oh the sun came out for a minute. It is at least somewhat warmer than it had been. So have fun out there today - especially if you drink green beer!!

Fun fact- it rained most of the night here in Manitowoc. Nice laying in bed listening to the rain coming down. Another subject besides the weather: we allow well behaved dogs in the motel. We do not charge you extra for you to bring your dog with you. Alot of families are traveling with their pet. BUT... please respect the motel, us, and other guests and pick up after your pet. If I have to start picking up after you, well lets just say that hourly rate could be more than your annual salary!!! So please be a good dog parent and pick up after. Thanks - have a great day on the Lakeshore.
