It’s America’s 250th Birthday and you know we’re going to celebrate it BIG. Remember, this party happens on JULY THIRD, or as I lovingly refer to it, ‘Fourth of July Eve.’
We’ll provide the Maid-Rites + hot dogs, you bring the potluck accoutrement (last year this was executed PERFECTLY!).
We’d welcome party-goers to bring any smaller fire crackers, roman candles, sparklers, party poppers you can to share to entertain the kids while we wait for dusk, there are so many kids at this party and I run out of my goodies quicker every year!
Nate has been planning for this show all year...you won’t want to miss what he’s dreamed up.
We’ll do a drawing for a free off-season weekend at Dock Holiday Twin Lakes. Submissions for the raffle can happen anytime starting now with Venmo to -Boersma, $1/ticket + helps offset the ridiculous fireworks ‘budget’ the boys scheme up.
Friends + family and friends of friends and family are all welcome, this is not a ‘Milford Hosted’ event, it’s a ‘our family is throwing a giant party’ event. ;)
The tractor + wagon will make the rounds for rides until sunset, bring your own drinks + some to share, and let’s celebrate this beautiful country we love!
Don’t forget the lawn chairs, blankets, and BUG SPRAY. We’ll start the show AT DUSK, as soon as it’s reasonably possible to light fireworks...with 100 kids and babies at this party, we know BEDTIME is imminent...just don’t forget to grab your potluck dishes before you leave!
