Updating our page. We sold Ocean Grand late last year and now own a condo in Pirate's Cove, just west of Nags Head.
SAILFISH VILLAS 6301
Welcome to 6301 Sailfish Villas, a premium Outer Banks vacation property. The Villa is a spacious (3,600 square feet), marina-front, four-bedroom condominium located in Pirate’s Cove Resort’s Sailfish Villas. It’s an affordable and flexible vacation alternative to the high rental rates charged on the beaches: Rent by the day (3 day minimum) or by the week.
Pirate’s Cove is a Resort/Marina community on Roanoke Island across the bridge from Nags Head. Access to the Outer Banks beaches, shops, restaurants and attractions are just a quick trip across the bridge: Public Beach Access is 6 minutes away.
6301 Sailfish Villa is a top-floor condo that has been beautifully furnished and appointed. It has been remodeled in 2023: New hardwood floors, new carpeting in the bedrooms, and freshly painted throughout. Two large master bedrooms (kings) each have a mini-loft with recliners, tv’s and a view of the marina, and large bathrooms with showers and Jacuzzis. Of the two additional bedrooms, one features a king and one has two full-size beds. Both have ensuite bathrooms.
The kitchen is large and fully-equipped, featuring two dishwashers, an ice maker, and a walk-in pantry. There is bar seating for six and the dining room table seats 10.
The living room space is comfortably furnished with two sofas and three swivel chairs. All living room and dining room furniture, art and decor is new in 2023.
An office space has a desktop and a printer available for your use, and the room doubles as a comfortable den with a loveseat and a tv. Wifi is available throughout the condo.
Two decks offer a sweeping vista view of the Roanoke Sound, marshes and the Bodie Island Lighthouse on the horizon (you have to look hard to see it . . . it’s way out there!). Sit on the decks to enjoy your morning coffee, or in the evening to watch the fishing boats coming in with their day’s catch.
Elevator access and four parking spaces, two of which are under cover, serve the unit. Access to Pirate’s Cove’s amenities (tennis, pickleball, workout center, pool) are included. An excellent restaurant, The Blue Water Grill, is within walking distance. Fishing charters are available onsite.
Roanoke Island offers a variety of things to do: An extensive wildlife refuge; Fort Raleigh National Historic Site and home of the Lost Colony Outdoor Drama; the quaint waterfront village of Manteo with its eclectic shops and eateries; the North Carolina Aquarium; and the fishing village of Wanchese, where you can buy seafood right off the boat. Lots of stuff to do if you need a day away from the beach crowds!
