Light. Plants are not the only things that must have it, if they are to flourish! Your body needs it. The mitochondria arethe energy battery in nearly all of your cells, and they thrive on red light. (I had the best winter -- no winter blues--ever, by laying in our SpectraLight therapy bed almost daily, all winter long.)lifht turns on hormone creation morning light is what makea your melatonin at night. Your body is deisgned to thrive wotb the right kind and amount of LIGHT
We've grown a garden at The Yardley Inn and Spa for years. However, this year, our state, Utah, has been hit with a severe drought.
Because helping living things to grow has long been my passion, I was very sad at the thought of being unable to plant our garden this year, knowing that Water would be severely restricted.
However, last year for my birthday, I chose a tall vertical Gardening System (with a central tube to add some red wiggler worms, which would not only compost kitchen scraps, but make worm castings. The castings go back onto the plants as organic nutrients!) It's a wonderful little ecosystem called the Tower Garden 2.
The feeling I get when connecting with living - growing - light filled plants is one that lifts my whole being.
Because . . .
"You ARE a being of light!"
