The Stephens House Maquoketa

It is with bittersweet sentiment that we announce the closing of The Stephens House as an Airbnb property. A recent guest loved the home so much that we have entered into an agreement with them to buy The Stephens House to live in, with the goal of reopening the Airbnb in the near future to the public. While we didn't forsee a sale happening, we are thrilled for the new owners and excited that the home will continue to be filled with family and special moments.
Josh and I are thankful for the guests we had the pleasure of hosting over the past two years. Our goal was always to restore a historic home and provide a welcoming space that allowed for the gathering of family and friends from far and near. We love that this house was filled up with these precious memorable moments.
Maquoketa is fortunate to have other family-sized overnight gathering places that we would recommend in the meantime, including Squires 1882 Victorian Home
and Eliza Gothic (hosted by Robert Abbott), and D'Arte Manor Gallery and B&B (hosted by Nasar and Patricia Shahrivar).
